Itinerary
DAY 1 | MALTA
Arrive at Malta International Airport. Following brief customs formalities and passport control. Proceed to the customs exit where you will be met by your professional driver bearing a sign. Private car transfer to your selected hotel. Malta’s strategic position in the center of the Mediterranean makes up for all the lack of resources that nature bestowed to the rest of the globe. Malta, the largest island, her sister islands of Gozo, Comino, Filfla and other very small islands, are conveniently placed in the narrow channel joining the eastern and the western basins of the Mediterranean, almost like a bridge between Southern Europe and North Africa, or between Western Europe and the Middle East. The Maltese Islands played an important role for important historic events such as the wars between Rome and Carthage.
